If you’re anything like me, a week or two before Thanksgiving, I’m googling “best potato recipes for Thanksgiving” so I can show off my potato-making skills!

Load them up with bacon and cheese and you have yourself a dish that family and friends will be overstuffing themselves on!

#8 German Potato Salad – By Allrecipes
Authentic German potato salad is always a welcome guest at thanksgiving. This salad is typically served warm and is usually all gone before it gets cold!
One note this recipe added was to reduce the sugar to 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar and add more to fast if you don’t want it too sweet.

As the author states “My mom’s potato salad is better than your mom’s potato salad.” And Sommer may be right – it’s pretty darn good!
